The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) and the host Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY), witnessed St. Joseph-by-the-Sea's football squad knock off Fordham Prep by a tally of 27-14.

The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY). The Firebirds go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record.

The Rams now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Stepinac for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18. Fordham Prep will encounter a Crusaders team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Xavier (New York, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-5.
