In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins football squad scored a close 34-28 triumph over the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings.
The Griffins (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Huskies come into the challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Naperville North nipped Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL), 56-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.
