The Kelso Hilanders soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Shelton Highclimbers to 0 in the Hilanders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hilanders now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain View for a 4A Greater St. Helens bout on Tuesday, October 14. Kelso will play a Thunder squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Heritage (Vancouver, WA). The Thunder record now stands at 4-5.
The Highclimbers (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Centralia (Centralia, WA). The Tigers come into the 2A Evergreen game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Centralia by Tumwater (Tumwater, WA), 5-0, in a league game.
