Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Tri-Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings host Fisher (Fisher, IL) to encounter the Bunnies in a test on Thursday, October 16. The Bunnies go into the test with a record of 7-13.

The Maroons now own a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richwoods for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 13.
