The Newark Norsemen edged the visiting St. Bede Bruins volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Coming up next, the Norsemen play the Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans (Aurora, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, October 21. Newark will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
With the loss, St. Bede drops to 5-3 on the year. The Bruins travel to Streator (Streator, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 13-12. Streator lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Herscher (Herscher, IL)
