The Phantoms (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI). The Hornets enter the Fox River Classic outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Green Bay Preble tipped Manitowoc Lincoln (Manitowoc, WI), 8-0, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Seymour Thunder (Seymour, WI) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 13. Appleton East will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Thunder come into the test with a 3-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Sturgeon Bay (Sturgeon Bay, WI).
