New York High School Soccer - Averill Park knocks off Troy

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Averill Park Golden Knights soccer squad scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Troy Flying Horses.
The Golden Knights (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Albany (Albany, NY). The Falcons go into the Suburban Council- Gray outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Albany got by Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY), 5-0, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Flying Horses clash with the Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY) in a Colonial Council test, on Thursday, October 16. Troy will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record.
