The Belvidere North Blue Thunder held off the visiting Benet Academy Redwings soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Blue Thunder clash with the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout, on Tuesday, October 14. Belvidere North will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Moline (Moline, IL).
