Next, the Spartans play the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 14. Greenbrier East will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Morgantown (Morgantown, WV).

With the loss, Cabell Midland moves to 7-7 on the year. The Knights travel to Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to play the Big Blacks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 15. The Big Blacks go into the bout with a record of 8-7.
