The Port Allegany Gators (Port Allegany, PA) soccer nipped the visiting Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Gators now hold a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elk County Catholic for a UAVSL Boys North contest on Monday, October 13. Port Allegany will face a Crusaders team coming off a 2-1 league win over Ridgway (Ridgway, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-7.

The Chucks (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] (Clarion, PA). The enter the UAVSL Boys Central contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] held off St. Marys (St. Marys, PA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
