In Saturday's non-league test, the host St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Academy of Our Lady Penguins.
With the win, St. Joseph's Academy upgrades its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Redstickers travel to Central (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-9.
Next, the Penguins play the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA) in a Division II District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Academy of Our Lady will attempt to upgrade on its 26-4 season record.
