The Columbia Blue Devils topped the host Academy of the Holy Names volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Blue Devils now possess a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Academy for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. Columbia will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Wallkill (Wallkill, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 20-3.
With the loss, Academy of the Holy Names drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The travel to Cohoes (Cohoes, NY) to play the Tigers in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty game on Tuesday, October 14. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-7. Cohoes won 3-2 in their recent league game against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY)
