In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host West Salem Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Amherst Falcons.
The Panthers (21-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau (Galesville, WI). The Red Hawks come into the Coulee game with a 9-17 record. In their last game, Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau went down by Unity (Balsam Lake, WI), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Falcons (17-11) will now prepare for their game against Iola-Scandinavia (Iola, WI). The Thunderbirds go into the Central Wisconsin East game with a 12-13 record. In their last game, Iola-Scandinavia went down by St. Mary Catholic (Neenah, WI), 3-1, in a non-league game.
