In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Anderson County Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Independence Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs (15-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Burlington (Burlington, KS). The Wildcats come into the Pioneer challenge with a 25-6 record. In their last challenge, Burlington beat Anderson County (Garnett, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Labette County Grizzlies (Altamont, KS) in a Southeast Kansas challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 14-14 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 9-20 record after their 2-0 league loss to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS).
