The Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles volleyball team (Inglewood, CA), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA)

The Hornets (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA). The Mariners enter the non-league contest with a 10-14 record. In their last contest, Pacifica was knocked off by Villa Park (Villa Park, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Aztec Eagles meet the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix (Compton, CA) in a Mulholland contest, on Tuesday, October 14. Animo Leadership will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Rising Phoenix enter the contest with a 6-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Environmental Charter (Lawndale, CA).
