The Pierce County Bears prevailed the visiting Appling County Pirates volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Saturday's league game.
Next up, the Bears confront the Savannah Arts Academy Panthers (Savannah, GA) in a 2A Area 3 game, on Saturday, October 11. Pierce County will attempt to advance on its 18-21 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 13-28 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Camden County (Kingsland, GA).
The Pirates (18-8) will now prepare for their game against Cook (Adel, GA). The Hornets enter the 2A Area 3 game with a 11-16 record. In their last game, Cook gained a win over Early County (Blakely, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
