Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) and the host Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA), observed Arleta's volleyball team hold off Los Angeles CES by a count of 1-0.
The Mustangs (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 20-8 record. In their last battle, Eagle Rock tipped Wilson (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Unicorns now own a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palisades for a Western battle on Monday, October 13.
