Barron Golden Bears (Barron, WI) followers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Bears (28-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Crimson come into the non-league challenge with a 20-3 record. In their last challenge, Maple Grove beat Centennial (Circle Pines, MN), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 11. St. Michael-Albertville will attempt to advance on its 11-12 season record. The Magic go into the game with a 16-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN).
