Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Campolindo Cougars (Moraga, CA) and the visiting Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA), observed Campolindo's volleyball team top Bear River by a tally of 2-0.

The Cougars (21-5) will now prepare for their test against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 19-4 record. In their last test, West Park achieved victory over Grant (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Bruins now own a 26-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mira Loma for a Pioneer Valley League challenge on Tuesday, October 14. Bear River will meet a Matadors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 0-11.
