The Princeton Tigers volleyball squad (Princeton, MN), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Byron Bears (Byron, MN)
With the victory, Byron upgrades its record to 13-7 on the year. The Bears host Lourdes (Rochester, MN) to meet the Eagles in a Hiawatha Valley challenge on Tuesday, October 14. Next, the Tigers meet the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record. The Sabres go into the test with a 14-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, MN).
