California High School Volleyball - Granite Bay edged by California

The Granite Bay Grizzlies volleyball squad (Granite Bay, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA)

With the win, California improves its record to 10-11 on the season. The Grizzlies host Granada (Livermore, CA) to encounter the Matadors in a East Bay battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Matadors go into the battle with a record of 11-11. Granada lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA)

The Grizzlies now hold a 13-18 record. They take the field next when they host Folsom for a Sierra Foothill League contest on Monday, October 13. Granite Bay will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 22-8.
