The Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) volleyball knocked off the host New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 18-12 record. They play next when they travel to Iota for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. Catholic - N.I. will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-2.

With the loss, New Iberia drops to 7-19 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Barbe (Lake Charles, LA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a Division I District 3 bout on Thursday, October 16. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 20-9. Barbe won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA)
