The Bulldogs (16-14) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league battle with a 0-20 record. In their last battle, Springfield Catholic dropped by Buffalo (Buffalo, MO), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now own a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookland for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. Central will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Highland (Hardy, AR). The Bearcats record now stands at 16-9.
