Pellston Hornets (Pellston, MI) boosters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets (14-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Gwinn (Gwinn, MI). The Modeltowners come into the non-league challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Gwinn lost by Calumet (Calumet, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Bark River-Harris Broncos (Harris, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. Chassell will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Broncos go into the test with a 3-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Stephenson (Stephenson, MI).
