With the win, Heritage Christian Academy upgrades its record to 13-16 on the campaign. The Chargers host Oswego (Oswego, KS) to meet the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 12-16. Oswego won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Southern Coffey County (Leroy, KS)

Next, the Chargers meet the St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers (Pittsburg, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Cherryvale will attempt to upgrade on its 6-27 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 14-14 record after their 3-0 league win over Columbus (Columbus, KS).
