In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Cherryvale Chargers.

The Jayhawks (21-11) will now prepare for their test against Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 28-4 record. In their last test, Maranatha Christian Academy achieved victory over Lutheran (Kansas City, MO), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 6-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eureka for a Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, October 14. Cherryvale will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Douglass (Douglass, KS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 13-17.
