Ohio High School Volleyball - Malvern can't hold off Claymont

The Claymont Mustangs tipped the host Malvern Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, October 13. Claymont will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Generals come into the bout with a 10-12 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH).

With the loss, Malvern drops to 5-17 on the campaign. The Hornets host Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH) to clash with the Bishops in a non-league bout on Monday, October 13. The Bishops come into the bout with a record of 3-14. Bishop Rosecrans lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Fairfield Christian Academy (Lancaster, OH)
