The Costa Mesa Mustangs volleyball squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Whittier Cardinals to 1 in the Mustangs non-league win on Saturday.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Upland Highlanders/Scots (Upland, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 11. Costa Mesa will attempt to advance on its 13-19 season record. The Highlanders/Scots go into the game with a 7-13 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA).

The Cardinals (9-18) will now prepare for their game against Nordhoff (Ojai, CA). The Rangers go into the non-league game with a 14-5 record. In their last game, Nordhoff nudged Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA), 3-0, in a league outing.
