With the win, De La Salle improves its record to 3-25 on the season. The Meteors travel to Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL) to encounter the Lions in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 15-4. Lincoln Park won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against British International School of Chicago (Chicago, IL)

The Steelmen now own a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet West for a Southwest Prairie battle on Tuesday, October 14. Joliet Central will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 28-3.
