In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Orange Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Dominguez Dons.

The Panthers (7-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Saddleback (Santa Ana, CA). The Roadrunners enter the Freelance challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Saddleback was beaten by Western (Anaheim, CA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Dons now own a 0-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gahr for a Suburban test on Tuesday, October 14. Dominguez will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 23-9.
