With the win, Dutchtown improves its record to 16-8 on the season. The Griffins travel to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 10-6. Pope John Paul II lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA)

The Panthers now own a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hammond for a Division I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, October 14. Northshore will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mandeville (Mandeville, LA). The Tornadoes record now stands at 13-11.
