In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Southfield Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Eastpointe Shamrocks.
The Eagles (15-9) will now prepare for their challenge against New Haven (New Haven, MI). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, New Haven was defeated by Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI), 3-0, in a league test.
The Shamrocks now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fitzgerald for a Macomb Area - Bronze test on Tuesday, October 14.
