The Vanguards (10-20) will now prepare for their contest against Upland (Upland, CA). The Highlanders/Scots enter the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Upland got by St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Aztecs face the Upland Highlanders/Scots (Upland, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. La Quinta will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Highlanders/Scots go into the test with a 7-13 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA).
