The El Modena Vanguards volleyball squad (Orange, CA), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Northview Vikings (Covina, CA)

The Vikings (20-5) will now prepare for their contest against Upland (Upland, CA). The Highlanders/Scots enter the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Upland notched a victory over St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Vanguards meet the Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) in a North Hills contest, on Tuesday, October 14. El Modena will attempt to move on its 8-19 season record. The Mariners enter the contest with a 10-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lincoln (San Diego, CA).
