In Saturday's non-league bout, the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD), by a margin of 2-0.

The Wildcats now possess a 28-2 record. They play next when they host Mobridge-Pollock for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 11. Northwestern Area will battle a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Groton (Groton, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 10-9.

The Huskies now own a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Sioux City for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 14. Elk Point-Jefferson will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Westview (Omaha, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-15.
