In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Elk Rapids Elks volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Reed City Coyotes.
With the win, Elk Rapids improves its record to 12-19 on the season. The Elks travel to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 27-4. Cadillac lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI)
The Coyotes now own a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shepherd for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Reed City will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Bluejays record now stands at 13-10.
