California High School Volleyball - Fallbrook edged by Helix

Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Fallbrook Warriors (Fallbrook, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Helix improves its record to 8-17 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Steele Canyon won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against West Hills (Santee, CA)

Next, the Warriors meet the Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Fallbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 3-0 league win over Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA).
