New York High School Volleyball - Finney over Lyons

The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Finney Falcons (Penfield, NY) and the host Lyons Lions (Lyons, NY), saw Finney's volleyball squad overcome Lyons by a tally of 2-0.

The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rochester School for the Deaf (Rochester, NY). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record.

Next, the Lions play the East Rochester Bombers (East Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Lyons will attempt to advance on its 16-4 season record. The Bombers go into the game with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Sodus (Sodus, NY).
