Flandreau Indian Indians (Flandreau, SD) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Flandreau Indian improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Indians travel to Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD) to face the Wambdi in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Wambdi go into the test with a record of 3-18. Tiospa Zina lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Little Wound (Kyle, SD)

The Mustangs now own a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Ridge for a A Region 7 test on Tuesday, October 14. Little Wound will face a Thorpes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Omaha Nation (Macy, NE). The Thorpes record now stands at 16-8.
