Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Glenbard South upgrades its record to 17-12 on the campaign. The Raiders host Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL) to face the Tigers in a Upstate Eight game on Tuesday, October 14. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 9-13. Elmwood Park won 2-1 in their recent league game against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)

The Tigers (6-23) will now prepare for their outing against Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Comets come into the Illinois Central Eight outing with a 3-23 record.
