Governor's Academy Governors (Byfield, MA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Lawrence Academy Spartans (Groton, MA), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Governor's Academy advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Governors host St. Mark's (Southborough, MA) to play the Lions in a NEPSAC challenge on Saturday, October 18. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.

Next, the Spartans play the Proctor Academy Hornets (Andover, NH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Lawrence Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
