Nebraska High School Volleyball - Grand Island Millard South

The Grand Island Islanders volleyball squad (Grand Island, NE), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE)

The Patriots (26-6) will now prepare for their contest against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs enter the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Papillion-LaVista was beaten by Millard North (Omaha, NE), 3-1, in a league test.

The Islanders now own a 8-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln High for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Grand Island will face a Links squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Links record now stands at 3-21.
