In Saturday's non-league match, the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Saxons battle the Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 11. Schaumburg will attempt to move on its 13-14 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 15-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL).
The Bulldogs (8-16) will now prepare for their bout against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Knights come into the Northern Lake County bout with a 7-16 record. In their last bout, Grayslake North was nudged by Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
