Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lewis County improves its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Grace Academy (Hagerstown, MD) to meet the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 17-1. Grace Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Saint James (Hagerstown, MD)

Next, the Spartans meet the Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Greenbrier East will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 10-16 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Independence (Coal City, WV).
