The Highland Baptist Christian Bears volleyball team (New Iberia, LA), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA)

The Bulldogs (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 15-12 record. In their last contest, Catholic - N.I. notched a victory over Franklin (Franklin, LA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Bears now own a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bourgeois for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11.
