Alabama High School Volleyball - St. Paul's Episcopal can't get by Hoover

The Hoover Buccaneers held off the visiting St. Paul's Episcopal Saints volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Buccaneers now possess a 16-21 record. They play next when they travel to Spain Park for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. Hoover will play a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over James Clemens (Madison, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 29-6.

With the loss, St. Paul's Episcopal falls to 23-15 on the year. The Saints travel to Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL) to confront the Makos in a non-league match on Saturday, October 11. The Makos enter the match with a record of 19-15. Orange Beach won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL)
