Horicon Marshmen (Horicon, WI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Palmyra-Eagle Panthers (Palmyra, WI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Marshmen (12-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Rio (Rio, WI). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 6-22 record. In their last challenge, Rio was tipped by Pardeeville (Pardeeville, WI), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pardeeville for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Palmyra-Eagle will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Rio (Rio, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-11.
