The McPherson Bullpups nudged the visiting Hutchinson Salthawks volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Bullpups now possess a 23-4 record. They play next when they host Buhler for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III outing on Tuesday, October 14. McPherson will play a Crusaders team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Collegiate (Wichita, KS). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-14.
The Salthawks (22-11) will now prepare for their game against Garden Plain (Garden Plain, KS). The Owls go into the non-league game with a 23-5 record. In their last game, Garden Plain nudged Medicine Lodge (Medicine Lodge, KS), 2-0, in a league game.
