The Kirkwood Pioneers volleyball team (Kirkwood, MO), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights (St. Louis, MO)

The Red Knights (19-11) will now prepare for their contest against Marquette (Chesterfield, MO). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 16-15 record. In their last contest, Marquette notched a victory over St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pioneers encounter the Lindbergh Flyers (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 11. Kirkwood will attempt to improve on its 17-10 season record. The Flyers go into the battle with a 9-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, MO).
