New York High School Volleyball - Kellenberg Memorial Islip

Islip Buccaneers (Islip, NY) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Islip improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign.

Next, the Firebirds meet the Huntington Blue Devils (Huntington, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 11. Kellenberg Memorial will attempt to advance on its 16-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Connetquot (Bohemia, NY).
